Established in 1978, Waterfront Gallery is an artist-run, not-for-profit collective dedicated to promoting and selling handcrafted work by local artisans from Salt Spring Island and the Southern Gulf Islands. The gallery features a diverse range of juried work, including ceramics, jewellery, painting, glass, textiles, woodwork, cards, candles, and more.

Located in Ganges, Waterfront Gallery offers visitors the opportunity to discover both established and emerging artists while learning the stories behind the work and the care that goes into each piece. The gallery has long been a cornerstone of Salt Spring Island’s creative community and a welcoming space to explore locally made art and craft.
