Tabor Plaza Mural
Unveiled July 10 at Canada Games Plaza, this vibrant container mural is the newest addition to Tourism Prince George’s public art initiative. Created by local tattoo artist Theresa Sapergia, the piece was inspired by the Lheidli T’enneh land acknowledgement and the idea of play as a central part of community life.
The mural features colourful wildlife including playful foxes, a frolicking moose, a mischievous raven, and bright wildflowers. Sapergia drew on her experience as a tattoo artist to create a bold, fluid design that stands out in the heart of the plaza and is visible from nearby landmarks like Two Rivers Art Gallery and the Marriott Hotel.
She hopes the mural becomes a welcoming gathering point for residents and visitors, a recognizable meeting place that adds joy and energy to the downtown experience.
