"Susanne Hare has created art for most of her life, making jewellery, hangings, designing and painting in her teens. She moved to Vancouver in the early 70s, and opened two galleries for art and metalwork in Gastown; 'Ironmongers' and 'Metalmorphosis.'

Susanne was commissioned to create a large copper piece for the On the Rocks Lounge: dedicated to the wild Pacific salmon, it is a piece that represents the movement of the ocean, water, fish, kelp and other marine life in a lightly abstract form."
