A mural at Canada Games Plaza in Prince George, created by local artist Theresa Sapergia, celebrates the Lheidli T’enneh people on whose traditional territory the city sits.

The vibrant artwork features playful depictions of animals such as foxes, a moose, and a raven, along with local wildflowers. The mural is prominently visible from nearby buildings, including Two Rivers Art Gallery and the Marriott Hotel. Sapergia drew inspiration from the land acknowledgement and designed the mural to be joyful and engaging, with the aim of creating a welcoming gathering space for the community. The mural was unveiled on July 10, 2025.
