Canada Games House Mural

Painted by Prince George artist Milan Basic, the Canada Games House Mural is a 24-foot public artwork created in 2012 as part of an exterior beautification project for the 2015 Canada Winter Games. The mural depicts a volunteer wearing reflective ski goggles, symbolizing community spirit, volunteerism, and the lasting impact of the Games on the city.

Located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Quebec Street, the mural remains a prominent downtown landmark and a reminder of Prince George’s role in hosting one of Northern BC’s largest cultural and sporting events.
